The Transition Sports organizing committee, works like a triathlon team! Each member of the team specializes on the completion of a project task, so that it is seen through effectively. The final common goal is the best organization for the smoothest running of races, in such a demanding sport. It is comprised by:
Dimitris Moraitis
Owner of Moraitis Sports, the venue where Schiniathlon has been housed for the last 5 years. Enthusiastic supporter of the races and founder of Transition Sports, he offers his experienced view and know-how for the continuation of triathlon, not only as a beach club but also participating himself in this new effort.
Danae & Alexandros Moraitis
They are the new blood in our team, bringing new points of view and ideas in respect to the races and their organization.
Alexandros is the technical point of view of the races. Responsible for the audio-visual material, he “directs” the event and subsequently presents it in various multimedia ways.
Danae: Communication and PR manager, she is responsible for the presentation of the events and their best representation in the media, for the audience and sponsors alike. Publicity will not only raise standards, but will make triathlon races known in Greece and abroad.
Joanna Hadjisavvas
We welcome Joanna to Transition Sports Team who is in charge of coordinating the department of volunteers and not only. Whoever is interested in helping with the activities on the day of events should contact Joanna via email.
Evangelos Theodorou
He is our Web administrator and responsible for Registrations and payments. He is in constant collaboration with the timing company as well in order to post results as fast as possible.
Ελληνική Ομοσπονδία Τριάθλου
Ever since the 2013 racing season, alongside Transition Sports is the Greek Triathlon Federation, under the auspices of which the National Triathlon Championships (Sprint, Super Sprint) and Duathlon are conducted. The goal of this collaboration is twofold. First we want the EOTRI presence to oversee the rules and the whole conduct of both the formal and essential part of each race. Secondly we want the Triathlon to become familiar as much as possible to the general public and to attract young athletes in multisports. Special thanks for their cooperation to Mr Vaxevani & Mr Galanos for their collaboration.

Stelios Andreadis
Triathlete with many successes in Greece and participations in triathlon races abroad. Managing director of Andreadis Homestores, sponsor of the race, as well as technical consultant for the races.
Alexis Athanasopoulos
Greek Champion in Water Skiing and triathlete, with participations in half and full Ironman distance races. Founder of pharmshop.gr, an online company of pharmaceutical products, dietary supplements and cosmetics. He actively supports the sport, as a sponsor, as well as a technical consultant, given his racing experiences.
Krommidas Vasileios
Born in 1970 in Thessaloniki, a graduate of Physical Education and recognized triathlon coach in the highest category (A) from the Sports Authority. In 2000 during his stay in Australia, he attended a series of seminars given by top standard Triathlon coaches focusing particularly on high altitude training.
